Drink Water:
12:30pm
Hey (Friend!) Time flies when you’re busy being productive! You’ve already done so much today, so it’s understandable if you’re feeling a little burnt out or tired. A good way to take care of your mind and body is by drinking some water. I’m just checking in to make sure you’re keeping yourself hydrated.

Hey (Friend!) Do I see a water bottle at your feet? A glass of water on the desk right in front of you? If you can’t find any water in front of you, or in your immediate surroundings, put down whatever you’re doing right now and find your way into the kitchen. Don’t worry, whatever you were working on or doing will be there once you get back. Up you get now! That’s it! Alright, I knew you could do it!

Did you just roll your eyes at me? Drinking enough water can help you stay productive and may even improve your mood! Remember those headaches you’ve had before – the really annoying ones that virtually make focus impossible? Staying hydrated may help minimise the frequency of these headaches – and if it doesn’t, at least know you’re giving your body something that is essential for it to function.

It’s okay to need reminders for things like drinking water. The world is filled with distractions and it can be easy to find ourselves hyper-focused. It’s completely valid to need a little help here and there and by drinking water, you are taking the initiative yourself to build on your independence.

Great work today, (friend!) I’ll check in with you a bit later on in the day. Keep being amazing!
